Welcome We are delighted to be hosting the fourth edition of the annual IE Social Responsibility Forum on November 6th and 7th 2009: “Redesigning capitalism, the business case for sustainability”. The IE Social Responsibility Forum 2009 is organized by students of IE Business School in Madrid. The content of this year’s forum was designed through an interactive workshop in April 2009 focused on formulating the burning questions that the IE student community wanted to see interrogated and addressed. It has evolved into a very exciting program, where we hope we will be able to learn, exchange and develop our knowledge and network toward making a valuable contribution as future managers and champions of sustainable business. This year’s theme is both provocative and engaging, reflecting the unique times we are living in, and highlighting the opportunities and challenges that will follow. The event will ask government decision makers, corporate managers, not-for-profit leaders, alumni and students to rise to the challenge of redesigning capitalism, to ensure that the next generation will inherit a sustainable and equitable world. International experts will facilitate the exploration of personal, corporate and societal values, and the relevant incentives required to make this new world a reality. Social innovators will inspire us with their stories of radically different business models and dare us to disrupt the status quo to prove that this new world is also possible and indeed evolving around us. We invite you to attend, contribute and be inspired by our annual IE Social Responsibility Forum. IE Business School look forward to welcoming you on November 6-7th in the beautiful city of Madrid. |
